This Privacy Policy describes how Fuse Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the DMGKit software and related services.
1. Overview
DMGKit is a macOS application designed to create and manage disk image installers.
We are committed to respecting your privacy.
DMGKit is designed to collect minimal data necessary to operate.
2. Information We Collect
a. License and Purchase Information
When you activate DMGKit, we may process:
- Your Gumroad license key;
- Basic license validation status.
This is used solely to verify that your copy of DMGKit is valid.
b. Technical Information (Minimal)
DMGKit may process limited technical data such as:
- App version;
- macOS version;
- Basic environment information required for functionality.
This data is used strictly for:
- Compatibility;
- Debugging;
- Improving stability.
c. Notarization and Signing Data
If you use signing or notarization features:
- You may provide Apple Developer credentials or keychain references;
- These are handled locally on your device.
Fuse Labs does not collect, store, or have access to:
- Your Apple ID credentials;
- Your certificates or private keys.
d. Files You Import
DMGKit processes files you choose (such as .app, .dmg, .pkg, .zip).
- These files are handled locally on your device;
- They are not uploaded or transmitted to Fuse Labs.
3. How We Use Information
We use information only to:
- Validate your license;
- Enable core functionality of DMGKit;
- Improve app performance and reliability;
- Provide support when requested.
We do not sell or rent your data.
4. Third-Party Services
DMGKit relies on third-party services for certain functionality:
Gumroad
- Used for payments and license generation;
- Subject to Gumroad’s Privacy Policy.
Apple Services
- Used for code signing and notarization;
- Data submitted to Apple is governed by Apple’s policies.
Fuse Labs is not responsible for how these third parties handle your data.
5. Data Storage
- DMGKit operates primarily offline;
- Data such as preferences and settings may be stored locally on your device;
- License validation may require occasional network requests.
We do not maintain centralized user databases.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including:
- Minimizing data collection;
- Avoiding storage of sensitive credentials;
- Using system-level secure storage where applicable.
However, no system is completely secure.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access your data;
- Request deletion of your data;
- Object to processing.
Since Fuse Labs does not store personal user data centrally, fulfilling these requests may be limited to guidance rather than direct deletion.
8. Children’s Privacy
DMGKit is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13 (or equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Updates will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date.
Continued use of DMGKit after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Fuse Labs
11. No Tracking
DMGKit is built with privacy in mind.
It does not include:
- Analytics trackers;
- Advertising SDKs;
- Behavioral tracking.
Your usage of the app is not monitored or recorded.
12. Local-Only Processing
DMGKit operates locally on your device.
- Your files are never uploaded to Fuse Labs;
- No project data is stored on external servers;
- All design, processing, and export operations happen on your machine.
13. DMGKit Inspector Privacy
This Privacy Policy applies equally to the use of “DMGKit Inspector.” Specifically:
- Local Forensic Analysis: Inspector performs all forensic scans and security audits locally on your device. No information regarding the files you inspect, the applications you audit, or the results of the “Trust Score” is ever transmitted to Fuse Labs;
- No Data Retention: Inspector does not store a history of the files you have scanned on our servers;
- Crash Reporting: In the event of a technical failure, Inspector may generate a local crash log. These logs are only shared with Fuse Labs if you manually choose to send them to us for support purposes;
- SLA Handling: Any interactions with Software License Agreements (SLA) within Inspector are processed in-memory to facilitate the audit and are not recorded or tracked.
14. Privacy of SLA Content
- Local Processing of Legal Text: All text entered into the SLA Editor, including content sent for automated translation, is processed locally using macOS system frameworks;
- No Cloud Storage: Fuse Labs does not transmit, store, or review the contents of your Terms, Privacy Policies, or EULAs. Your legal strategy and document contents remain 100% private to your local machine.
